Planning a change in practice location? Be sure to keep Renaissance informed.
To maintain uninterrupted participation in the Renaissance network, providers should notify us as soon as possible of any practice location changes, office transfers or employment transitions.
Please note providers who are terminated from the network and are not added to another contracted office within 30 days are required to complete the full credentialing process before rejoining the network. This can result in delays in network participation and may impact claim processing. The 30-day requirement is tied to NCQA standards and serves as an important safeguard to ensure provider information remains current and members have access to accurate network data.
Early communication helps ensure a smooth transition, minimizes potential disruptions, and allows our team to assist with any necessary enrollment or credentialing requirements. If you anticipate a practice change, please reach out to Renaissance as soon as possible so we can help facilitate the process.
D7210 Prior Authorization Requirement Effective October 1
Reminder for Providers: As of Oct. 1, a prior authorization for procedure code D7210 (Extraction, erupted tooth requiring removal of bone and/or sectioning of tooth) is required.
Claims submitted for D7210 are now subject to this prior authorization requirement. To help avoid claim denials or processing delays, providers should ensure an approved prior authorization is obtained before rendering and billing for this service.
If you have any questions regarding this update or the prior authorization process, please contact your Provider Representative for assistance.
Your Feedback Matters: Watch for Our Upcoming Provider Satisfaction Survey
At Renaissance, we are committed to building strong partnerships with our providers and continuously improving the services and support we offer. In the coming weeks, selected providers may receive a Provider Satisfaction Survey.
If you receive a survey invitation, we encourage you to take a few minutes to share your feedback. Your input helps us better understand what’s working well and where we can improve processes, communications, tools and provider support.
The feedback we receive plays an important role in helping us:
- Enhance the provider experience
- Improve access to care for our members
- Identify opportunities for better communication and education
- Strengthen our programs and services to better meet the needs of both providers and patients
Your voice helps shape future improvements, and we truly value your participation. Thank you for partnering with us to deliver quality care to the members we serve.
